Opening act just announced: River Town Saints!
They may be rooted in small towns surrounding the Ottawa River, but there is nothing small about River Town Saints. A 5-piece, harmony-driven group with rock n’ roll roots, Chris Labelle, Chris McComb, Jeremy Bortot, Jordan Potvin and Daniel DiGiacomo, have proven that a little heart (and a lot of work) does, in fact, go a long way. Led by the strong vocals of Chris Labelle, River Town Saint’s unbeatable energy has already landed them on stage with Tim Hicks and the front page of the Hamilton Spectator. Since signing with Open Road Recordings, the band has shared the stage with The Road Hammers and opened for Tim Hicks. This past summer saw the group on the festival circuit, impressing fans and winning new ones with their dynamic live show, at Boots and Hearts in Ontario, Rock the Park in London and The Queen’s Plate at Woodbine Race track. River Town Saints released their debut single “A Little Big Goes a Long Way”, landing them on many “Artists to Watch Lists” for 2016. They released their highly anticipated second single, “Cherry Bomb” in the spring of 2016. Their most recent single, “Bonfire” is currently climbing the charts – it’s a catchy, upbeat track about friends from a small town, heading downtown to party and “light it up like a bonfire”. The group recently opened for Tim Hick’s on his Shake These Walls tour, and is gearing up to head out on tour with Kip Moore in western Canada.
About Kip Moore:
Multi-PLATINUM singer/songwriter Kip Moore recently released UNDERGROUND. Critics have been quick to praise the five-track EP, with Rolling Stone highlighting that the EP "strikes the defiant tone that’s been a part of his artistry” while Taste Of Country heralds "Moore’s vocals and lyrics shine." UNDERGROUND follows the release of Moore’s critically acclaimed sophomore album WILD ONES that The Guardian declared as "an impressively singular release from Music Row... unlike anything else in country music," as well as his debut album UP ALL NIGHT which was certified GOLD by the RIAA and spawned three No. One hit singles including GOLD certified “Beer Money,” PLATINUM certified "Hey Pretty Girl," and the DOUBLE PLATINUM breakout hit "Somethin’ ’Bout A Truck.” A constant road warrior, Moore’s current headlining ME AND MY KIND TOUR follows a characteristically relentless touring schedule, that kicked off at the beginning of the year with a sold-out tour in the US and Canada, a stint in Australia for the first time and headlining shows in The UK and Ireland that, due to demand, led to bigger venues being scheduled as well as closing out the run with a sold-out date in London, UK.
