Century 21 Aquatic Complex

The Century 21 Aquatic Complex has a 25 metre Main Pool with 10 lanes, a Leisure Pool with Play Structure with Water Features and the "Big Bucket," a huge Hot Tub, a two-storey indoor Water Slide and a Steam Room.  We offer drop-in activities such as Lane Swim, Public Swim, Aquafit, registered water-based programs and certifications. The Aquatic Centre is also the home to many of our local youth aquatics clubs and services our community’s schools with learn-to-swim programs.

The NWT Promotions Arena Complex 

The complex features two NHL-sized arenas and offers a variety of drop-in activities, including shinny, ringette, public skating, and more. It is also the home ice to many of our local hockey and ringette teams.

The Garden Dental Gymnasium

The gym has sprung flooring to accommodate a wide variety of activities, such as basketball, pickleball, volleyball and much more. It’s also where we have our popular indoor playground.

The leisure ice is available for drop-in during TLC operating hours, subject to availability.

Please note the following guidelines:

• No sticks and pucks
• Participants must wear a helmet
• No food or drink except water
• You must have fun!

The Atkinson Construction Fitness Centre

The TLC is pleased to offer most of our second floor, including The Atkinson Construction Fitness Centre, Studio, Spruce Grove Room and Sunshine Room, and third-floor The Ultra Shine Group Inc. Track for workouts.
Check-in at the front desk (including payment and collection of a wristband) is required prior to accessing the second or third-floor fitness areas.

JD Mechanical Children’s Play Centre 

The Play Centre is now available for drop-in play (admission required) at the following times:

Monday to Friday: 12:30 PM to 10:00 PM
Saturdays & Sundays:  6:30 AM to 9:00 PM
Guidelines:

• Free access for children UNDER two years old (must be supervised by an adult (14 years or older)
• Children 2 years old and over MUST pay admission (wristbands available at our front desk) and MUST be supervised by an adult (14 years or older).
• For safety reasons, the maximum age for children actively playing in this space is 7 years old.
• Clean indoor shoes are required to use this space - no bare feet, please!
• No food or drink in the play centre (it makes a mess!)
• If you need assistance, please ask at our front desk.
• Play hard and have fun!

The Myshak Outdoor Community Rink

HOURS and USAGE 
The Outdoor Community Rink is open (WEATHER PERMITTING IN WINTER) from sunrise to 9:30 PM daily for the use of the general public. 
User discretion is advised - use at your own risk, respect each other and have fun! 

WINTER:  Once the weather is cold enough, the TLC-operated Outdoor Community Rink is inspected and flooded once a day, weather permitting.
Players/Skaters should wait in the players’ boxes for your safety until the Zamboni is COMPLETELY of the ice and the gates are closed.
There is a covered skate shack at the rink for putting skates on or taking a break. 
There are shovels available for your use if it snows significantly after the ice has already been flooded for that day.
 
ICE CONDITIONS: The TLC reserves the right to close the Community Outdoor Rink based on surface conditions - follow the TLC on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram for updates.  Please report any unsafe ice conditions to our TLC front desk in person or by calling us at 780.960.5080.

EQUIPMENT: Helmet rentals (in the winter) are available at the Customer Experience Desk inside the TLC.

SUMMER
The concrete pad is available for inline skating and ball games throughout the summer months.
Basketball nets are installed for anyone to come and shoot some hoops!
There is a covered shack at the rink for taking a break in the shade.

The Party Room (formerly known as Shotz Lounge) is on the second floor of the TLC, located behind the concession. It is a very popular location and can host various events, such as birthday parties, team rentals, and more. 

Winter 2025 (January 2- March 30, 2025)

The TLC Meeting Room (previously Shotz Lounge) is available for rental on a limited basis at an hourly rate of $78.00, (as of January 1, 2025).

The Meeting Room can accommodate approximately 80 people, depending on the required tables and chairs.

Cancellation – Written notifications of cancellation received fourteen (14) business days prior to the scheduled rental will receive a full refund. No refund will be provided for cancellations with less than fourteen (14) business days’ notice.
