Child Minding

The TLC’s Child Minding Service

More than just babysitting, this is a whole lot of fun! Our Child-Minding staff have experience working with children and prioritize safety while making sure your kids are having plenty of good old-fashioned fun. We welcome children aged one month to 7 years to join in so you can enjoy peace of mind and your workout at the TLC (parents/guardians must remain onsite).

A Child Minding Personal information form (PIF) is required for all new participants (one per year).

A Maximum of 20 children’s spots are available for each hour Monday to Friday.

  • $7 per hour for Members (parent/guardian can be the Member - please ask us to flag your account with this perk so you can book online for your children))
  • $9 per hour for non-members

Drop-in and pay at our front desk. Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis for drop-ins.

  • Must book in 1 hr increments for a maximum of 3 hours. 
  • A Maximum of 20 children’s spots are available for each hour.

Print and fill out our Child Minding Personal information form (PIF), which is required for all new participants (one per year). If you aren’t able to complete this at home that’s ok, we will have printed copies available when you arrive. Please arrive early to allow yourself time to complete the form

Step 3:

Come 10 minutes before your first booking to meet the staff, get familiar with the space, and sign your child in. 

  • Monday to Friday, Child Minding is held in the Play Centre.
  • Monday/Wednesday evenings and Saturday Child Minding is located in the Parkland Room.
Step 4: 

The Guardian can leave while their child plays in our space for an hour. Remember the guardian must stay in the facility for the entire visit. 

Step 5:

Sign your child out after the booked time slot is over. A late pick-up fee of $5 will be charged after 10 minutes.
