Welcome to our Preschool!
The TLC is proud to offer licensed preschool classes for children ages 3-5 years. These learn-through-play preschool classes are dedicated to the intellectual, creative, social, emotional and physical development of the children in our preschool. Daily routines include activities such as circle time with songs and stories, focus on letters and numbers, crafts, manipulative centers, physical activity and unstructured play. Our preschool programs also include swimming, skating, or instructed dryland days once per month. We require minimal parent helper days and have no fundraising expectations. *Visit our front desk to hand in your registration package and pay your deposit. Your registration is not finalized until we receive both of these items. Come prepared with VISA or MasterCard to place on file for future payments. Visa debit cards are not currently accepted.

AFFORDABILITY GRANT SUBSIDY INFORMATION
TLC Active Kids Preschool is a licensed facility under Alberta’s Early Learning and Child Care Act, allowing our program eligibility for provincial subsidies.
On January 30, Alberta’s government announced a flat monthly parent fee of approximately $15 per day for child care, taking effect on April 1, 2025, supported by the 2025/2026 Child Care Affordability Grant. To further implement the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care Agreement and ensure the continued delivery of high-quality child care, Alberta is introducing three unique Affordability Funding approaches for daycare providers, preschools, and family day homes.
TLC Active Kids Preschool will now receive $100 per month for each registered child, reducing the monthly fee for families from $180 to $80. Families do not need to apply for this funding. It will be automatically applied to your monthly fee before any payments are processed. This funding agreement is in place until March 2026, and we are hopeful it will continue beyond that.

- What are your hobbies/interests outside of the TLC? Hobbies outside of the TLC include knitting/crocheting, spending time with my family and going for walks.
- What’s your favourite movie of all time? I don’t really have one, but my favourite Christmas movie I watch every year is Home Alone and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.
- What are the five must-have items in your fridge? 5 must-have items in my fridge. Milk, coffee creamer, cheese, eggs and fruit.
- Are you an early riser or a night owl? I’m a little bit of both. I enjoy staying up late after everyone has gone to bed and waking up before my kiddos.
- If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? If I could visit anywhere, it would be France so I could see the Eiffel Tower.

- Are you an early riser or a night owl? I am an early riser!
- If you could visit anywhere in the world, where would it be and why? I really want to take my kids to Disneyland :) I went when I was younger, and I want to experience it with my kids as well!
