Daily admission price is based on a pass to the facility and its many amenities, not to a specific area such as the pool. The admission fee is based on the spontaneous use of the facilities, such as lane swim or leisure swimming in the pool, use of the fitness track for running/walking, use of the fitness centre, casual use of the gymnasium, public skating etc. The fee also allows the user to use the facility for the entire day, as long as the proof of admission (wristband) is worn on the wrist.
The architectural design of the facility and subsequent operational procedures centre are based around an admission pass that can be used for the variety of amenities that are offered.
Our comparison and subsequent fee structure is modeled after similar
type facilities such as Millennium Place in Sherwood Park, and Collicutt
Centre in Red Deer. If you compare, you will find our operational methodology
and fee structure in many cases mirror these facilities. It is very difficult
to compare a price structure to facilities that are aquatic only facilities
as the Tri Leisure Centre is much more than a pool. For example the Tri
Leisure Centre is open 359 days a year; from 5 am - 10 pm on weekdays and 6 am - 9 pm on weekends and our Aquatic facility is available for spontaneous use (Public Swim) throughout the entire day. Aquatic only facilities must designate specific times in order to accommodate lessons, classes etc.
